Dennis Mwai

Mwai is a Kenyan qualified legal professional with over 5 years’ experience. He heads the firm’s Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate Law Division which offers advice and transactional support. He also assists in Commercial Litigation, including Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes.

He heads the firm’s real estate and conveyance department where he offers advice and transactional support to clients on a wide array of legal issues. These include but not limited to handling litigation matters arising from commercial transactions as well as white collar crimes in the Anti Corruption and Economic Crimes Courts. 

He has vast experience in handling real estate transactions and has particular experience in securities having worked at the Securities and Documentation Department at KCB Bank Kenya. Mwai has advised international clients on setting up their businesses and establishing their presence in Kenya as well as on legal and regulatory compliance matters. Some of the sectors he has interfaced with and developed contacts and practical know how is in business registration and restructure, acquisition and disposal of corporate assets, immigration employment and labour relations. 

He is also a member of Rotary International where he volunteers his skills in negotiating and drafting of agreements between Rotary International and private and public entities for community service projects. 

Mwai is committed to execute whatever assignment he has undertaken on behalf of his clients with a personable and disarmingly charming attitude. He values teamwork and thrives in collaborative assignments where he easily builds and maintains relationships with legal friend or foe. 

Mwai’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws degree (hons) from The University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya and East Africa Law Society.
